Mixed-race, white father and black mother, I faced an absence of people I could identify
with or resemble in the city of Buenos Aires.
It was through a series of photos that I wanted
to transcribe this loss of identity, to understand my origins and their importance in the town of Buenos Aires.
Therefore I walked 3 hours a day for a month, to discuss the feelings of Afro-descendants, immigrants, foreigners in
the argentinian capital.
326 people crossed my path, and 148 agreed to be photographed. Subsequently,
I organized an event for these 148 people so that they could write and transmit their message on the printed photo.
The photos
were exhibited at the Buenos AireUniversity of Architecture and Design (FADU-UBA).
A book was to be published in partnership with professor and photographer Trilnick.
Unfortunately, the corona virus had taken his
life away before this project was developed.
